F Spot Records may not be a label that you’re familiar with (yet), but with a few quality releases listed in their catalog, slowly but surely, they’re well under way to be something special. A small independent label from Los Angeles, CA specializing in Soul, Jazz, Funk and Afro grooves who are putting their heart and soul into each release. Their latest 45 and a cool one at that is from Soluzion and is one side slow burning soul and mellow instrumental Afro grooves on the flip.
The A-side, “Strength” is a beautiful and nicely orchestrated soul tune about pushing forward and finally reaching and returning to that point of love. The B-side, “Nyoka” is a mellow Summer afro groove perfect for kicking back as the sun is setting while enjoying a beer out on the deck. All in all, this is a solid debut release from Soluzion and one that’s worth the minimal price and a great addition to your crates.
