For the most part, 2017 has been a great year for independent labels, artists and musical releases with Star Creature flying sky high way into the cosmos with a gang of releases. Their latest comes from Euro Funk heavyweights First Touch via Germany who deliver a double sider instrumental takes which have only been listenable on their 2010 limited CD release. Both are uptempo floor filling instrumental slappers with synth, piano, horn solos for days.
I’m really digging the instrumental aspect of quite a few releases that I’ve been receiving lately from labels and this fits right into the mix of everything else thats playing in my ears.
