Jorun Bombay – Expansions b/w All That Jazz

I remember a few months back via Jorun Bombay’s Instagram he posted footage from a studio session of him and few musicians creating what ultimately became the Space Jazz-Funk 45 that we are reviewing today.  If you’ve been following Jorun then you’ll obviously notice that he is a true school lover doing his rendition and take on the Lonnie Liston Smith classic should come as no surprise. His upcoming release “Expnasions ft. Orit Shimoni” b/w “All That Jazz” see the producer flipping this Jazz-funk gem both in keeping it in the traditional sense on the A-side then bringing it full circle with the Stetsasonic remix flip on the B-side. When you talk about fresh takes on old classics, this is a prime example of doing justice to the original.
