Thursday nights Electric Hotpot at The Trestle Inn with a rotating cast of resident DJ’s has become one of my favorite nights to play for various reasons. Of course the crowd always makes a night and Thursday’s attendees obviously enjoy the eclectic selections which help to ease them into the final work day of the week and the weekend ahead. The night is geared towards a sweet and savory mélange and eclectic vinyl mix of Psychedelic Rock, Yé Yé, Boogaloo, Afrobeat, Soundtracks and other assorted bits that pair well with whiskey and Go Go dancers.
If you’re ever in the area on a Thursday night, catch one of The Trestle Inn’s resident DJs in action then come back on Friday for SOULed Out funky soul dance party and Saturday for Saturnia, a far out Disco affair.
