For as long as I can remember, whenever working on mixes, production or in creative mode, I always surround myself with things that connect and tie it all together. In the early 90’s when doing production, the TV would always be on in the lab with stacks of Kung Fu and Blaxploitation VHS would stay in rotation. In the present time depending on what I’m working on, other themes are in arms length to pull inspiration from.
While working on 2 projects for the Japan market, I decided to take an afternoon break to grab lunch and browse some visuals that would transport me to my favorite place. After about 8 hrs of being locked in the lab, I’ve finished to project and it’s off into the hands of the connects in Japan to make things happen.
I’ve got a bunch of things in the works as far as projects so definitely looking forward bringing them to the public in the upcoming months. Stay tuned!
