Some pictures are worth a thousand words and it’s those pics that take you back to a great place and time which is exactly what this photo of fellow collector Rick Gordon’s vintage magazine rack and amazing stash of vintage magazines (which he rotates monthly, of course) posted with another fellow collector, DJ and Kung Fu film historian Paul Nice browsing the pages of his favorite issues. This photo definitely takes me back to the days of going to the comic shops, 5 & Dime and corner drug stores to look at and buy magazines of all our interests, from Starlog to Eerie, Mad to Kung Fu Illustrated, BMX Action to Word Up!. What (big) kid wouldn’t want to have their own magazine shop in their homes?
