Rainy days require rainy day movies or in this case, music to do nothing but be lazy around the house while answering an occasional email or two before sinking back into the couch. Today officially feels like the first day of fall here in Philly with the temperature going from 80 just yesterday down to 60 today due to Hurricane Michael which is moving in from Florida via Mexico. No worries though, there are plenty of records and flicks to keep me in the crib for the day starting with the David Alexrod classic LP, Earth Rot. A 90’s Hip Hop grail amongst producers and a very fitting topic for whats going on in the world today with climate change and destruction to the earth.
