Some people talk about it, others act on those thoughts and words. And while that word “culture” gets thrown around way too loosely these days, theres one guy in particular who has been about culture and connecting it to the people since day one and that is the homie Set Free. A cultural ambassador and vision behind the creative lair known as The Compound, Set Free has built an impressive resume of artists that he’s worked with and opened doors to avenues that only he would think of entering. As a lover and collector of art and vinyl collectible toys, it was a no brainer that he would work with toy icon and go to guy Chris Kong of Made By Monsters to bring forth the vision of artist Ron English’ final edition of the “Charlie Grin” figure for the 10th anniversary.
For this drop, there will be a limited “Compound Edition” designed in a Black / Gold and Black / Platinum colorways. There will be 10 of the 4ft figures and 300 of the 8″ figures which means these will sell out quick. So if you’re in or around NY on June 1st, be sure to run over to the Concepts NYC shop for your chance to score one.
