When it comes to labels focuses on producer based projects, Village Live always stands tall like the Empire State Building. From the group of resident producers that they choose to work with to the finished product that always sounds amazing and looks visually stunning, this UK label has been on the top of their game and has released some of my favorite instrumental LPs that remain in heavy rotation. Their latest release “Kuartz FM” from producer Kuartz who we’ve of course reviewed previously here at Nostalgia King sets to drop his latest offering that pays homage of sorts to the days of FM radio in the form of a full-length LP of souful instrumental hiphop with call ins, radio jingles and skits throughout to add to the radio station theme.
