When Funk Night does a release, it’s never just one and done! This week we’re treated to not one, not two but three funky Russian 45’s to fill our crates with. The second in the 3-peat this week kicks it heavy with “Funk Revenge”, a slow simmering Blaxploitation style late night in a dark alley type of cut that’ll have you looking over your should at the first sound of a rat rummaging through a dumpster after hours when even the prostitutes are done for the night. Flip things over and it’s uptempo in Streets of San Franciso mode and ready for the chase. As always, straight forward and no frills with The Great Revivers with their brand of Russian Funk.
