This Friday night I have to pleasure of co-curating alongside In Vintage We Trust, Supreme La Rock and Cratery, the Jazzy Jay Retrospective gallery event in Toronto at Hashtag Gallery. The exhibition will feature artifacts from Jay’s collection of Hip Hop memorabilia. Everything from his legendary outfit worn in Beat Street to his original Def Jam jacket, rare vinyl test pressings and more. Then immediately following the exhibition you can catch Jazzy Jay, Japan’s DJ Koco aka Shimokita, DJ Serious and myself at the 45 Kings party as part of the Discogs Presents: Live Convention weekend hosted by Cratery.
