Looking forward to heading to Ethiopia in January as an ambassador and part of a cultural exchange program through Next Level, US State Department and Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. As a Hip Hop ambassador, members who practice each of the elements (DJ’ing, Breaking, MC’ing, Graffiti) will be sent to select countries across the globe to teach. We recently met together in Washington D.C. to build and connect the dots while planning and discussing the future travels. In attendance were Hip Hop practitioners from across the United States and of course, it’s always a pleasure to link up with the homies, Lord Finesse, Sadat X and Dinco D (Leaders of The New School). After administrative work was done, we all gathered at the Einstein Memorial Museum for an outdoor jam to show spectators what Hip Hop and the 4 elements were all about.
