There are many things that I love about being able to travel the globe DJ’ing and they all go hand in hand of equal enjoyment. Whether it’s the opportunity to taste good foods and drink local beers or to catch up with friends that I might not have seen in quite some time. But one thing that’s for sure is none of this would be possible if it wasn’t for my love of playing records which has taken me across the globe to not only entertain the people, but also to dig. Having the opportunity to venture out to many countries to dig for records, it’s always great when you find local pressings or artists that you most likely wouldn’t find elsewhere and one of those places is Bogotá.
It’s been almost 10 years I’d say since I’ve been to Colombia to play and the last time in Bogotá, I had very little time to dig but after seeing this new video, it reminded me that I need to get back that at some point soon to do a bit of digging.
