This Friday night, I have the pleasure of being involved in something special taking place at The Franklin Institute for Science After Hours: Spectacular Spectacular. There are quite a few things going on to fill up the building but I will be featured in Fels Planetarium Starlight Lounge and curating a special themed mix which will be accompanied by space themed visuals. This evening’s mix will explore the music used to interpret what the sound of space would be as portrayed visually and sonically by science fiction films from the 1960s; ultimately jazzy, soulful, and often funky.
