This Friday I will be debuting my new cassette release, Misha Panfilov ‘A Modern Day Maestro’. This new cassette celebrates just some of Misha’s incredible catalog to date, which convers the span of Library music, Jazz, Psych, Funk and more. Whe I think of the greats that we listen to and sample from like David Axelrod, Lalo Schifrin, Alan Hawkshaw, Galt MacDermot, Piero Umiliani and Alessandro Alessandroni to name a few, Misha is the modern day version of the best parts of those legendary names.
