I think it’s safe to say that one of my favorite tunes which has gotten more spins and in the last 2 months than most get in a year is “Somebody’s Watching You” by The Jack Moves. Coming in off of their full length LP, Cruiserweight, Somebody’s Watching You receives a much appreciated 7″ single to close out 2023 on Mofunk Records. The highly anticipated and welcomed release delivers that two step appeal that’s very reminiscent of what we love about 80’s club nights and the nostalgic feel that it delivers.
This double-sider has it all as modern soul meets modern funk with the beautifully orchestraded XL Middleton remix backed with the original version found on their LP “Cruiserweight”. Highly recommended and crate essential!
