There’s two things that I really love when it comes to longtime friends and especially those with deep passions for creativity and that’s them winning and connecting the dots by building relationships. It’s seems that I’ve always found myself connecting with people early on in a genuine way and before social media presence and status which to me is the most valuable thing with friendships. Recently, two amazing paths crossed of those that I consider both to be friends and made magic happen on a slice of 7″ vinyl that deserves your listening attention.
Switzerland’s Kind & Kinky Zoo have been on the upswing for some years now, recording and releasing projects to a global audience and have recently linked up with longtime friend and musician, Soul Supreme who needs no introduction at all. But for those not in the know, please go back and listen to his renditions of various Hip Hop classics and Jazz-Funk releases. The two entities recently aligned on a Kind & Kinky Zoo 45, “Pamukkale” who Soul Supreme remixed and added his special touches to. What came about was a flute laden, organ-filled, swinging drum gem that sounds absolutely amazing in every way.
