It take a lot for me to leave the house on a Sunday afternoon especially after a weekend of doing gigs but it takes even more for me to want to leave the house when it’s a heavy rain storm. But when I got wind that my big brother, Easy Mo Bee would be in town playing a set of his iconic beats and doing a signing for his new book, Iconic Beats, I knew that I needed to step out and check him out. Held at Black & Nobel bookstore which filled up rather quickly considering the rain, Easy Mo Bee dove into an hour long DJ set of some of his most iconic and under the radar beats that people didn’t even know he made. Mo Bee has one of the most impressive producers catalogs in Hip Hop and has worked with some of the greats including Miles Davis, Biggie, Tupac, Nas, Das Efx, Lost Boys and more.
Grab a copy of his book and read some of the stories his career within the music industry and working with those who he produced hits for.
