This past Friday while in Seattle, my mellow Supreme La Rock and myself had the pleasure of being special guests on KBCS 91.3fm’s Mega Booty & Funkscribe Presents radio show. The Butta Bros swung through to talk about music, collecting and of course played a few joints from our crates. During my opening segment of cuts, I ran through a selection of new releases from labels like Super Disco Edits, Funk Night and Timmion Records from artists John Simmons, Ernie Hawks, Gillespie & Co and Rickey Calloway and The Soul Investigators with Supreme following up with some around the world cuts before I follow up with more deeper funk 45s.
