Over the last few months it’s felt like a whirlwind travels and playing some of my favorite parties across the globe. This last weekend I made a long overdue return trip to Chicago to play Soul Summit at their new venue home of Logan Square Auditorium. It’s been 4 years since I played the night and I have to tell you, ain’t a damn thing change and Chicago still knows how to party. Besides a packed house of music lovers and dancing people, it’s always great to see fellow DJ’s fly or drive in from other cities to support what I would consider to be the largest Funk & Soul night here in the states.
If you’re ever in the city, then you really should swing through to hear Sloppy White, Dave Mata and Duke Grip play joint after joint and take my advice, early arrival is highly suggested! Thank you Soul Summit and the good people of Chicago for once again showing amazing hospitality!
