I’m super excited to finally start rolling out promo for my upcoming Shifting Gears II cassette mixtape. Following up on last years debut of volume one which featured rare breaks and samples at 45rpm, volume 2 follows in a similar lane of breaks, samples, soundbites and assorted bits pulled from both 45’s and 12″ vinyl selections from my crates. The mix was recorded from vinyl straight to 4-track tape, mastered and dubbed to cassette for your warm analog listening pleasure and to carry on the tradition of previous tape kings.
A limited number of cassettes will be available for pre-order here at https://nostalgiaking.com and with the bulk being available at http://www.recordbreakin.com. The price is $12 for pre-order / $15 after release date so take advantage of pre-order. Tapes will ship out July 13, 2018.
