There’s no denying that giant robots have always been a favorite amongst collectors, Punk kids, rockers and anime fans including the likes of Marky Ramone (The Ramones), Kirk Hammett (Metallica) and Debbie Harry (Blondie) to name a few. Throughout the history of collecting robots, Shogun Warriors are always on the top of the list for various reason with nostalgia playing a major part. While browsing through old magazine issues, I came across this classic photoshoot from Gallery Magazine back in 1977 which shows just how popular the line was and still is today. The image shows a nude woman surrounded by the classic toy line. Not sure who came up with this idea or what they were thinking but it’s definitely left field.
