Legendary boxer, philanthropist and icon Muhammad Ali will have a popular street in West Philadelphia named after him. 52nd Street which is known as a shopping district where as a youth I would buy fresh kicks on Saturday afternoons, the street will be renamed to Muhammad Ali Way in his honor. For many years, Ali lived in Philly and within a 5 minute drive from my home and as some one who has always been a fan, this is a major moment in Philadelphia history.
