Let’s just start out by saying Texas does it right when it comes to the good ol’ Funk & Soul yes? So that explains why the upcoming Bastards of Soul 45 is so damn proper and caught our attention that quick after making their debut on the scene back in 2016. The new release (and their 2nd 45) on the Eastwood label features “If These Walls Could Talk”, a slow burning, straight to gut heartfelt soul joint originally featured on their debut album, Spinnin’ backed with “BBQ In Paris”, a heavy horn led instrumental thats got all of the right elements in place with a lovely drum break for the cherry on top.
