It’s been a few years since my last trip to Chicago to play what is hands down one of the finest funk & soul nights not only here in the states but internationally as well. My last visit was supposed to be right at the start of the countries lockdown which for me was a big let down considering I had been waiting for the opportunity to play the night once again. Fast forward to the present and that time is now and on June 18th I’ll be touching down in the Windy City for a do over of sorts of what was supposed to happen in 2019.
If you’ve never attended Soul Summit and are within an hour of 2 drive, I highly recommend you pulling up and making your way onto the dance floor to hear some of the finest funk & soul from this band of resident 45 slingers!
