Los Angeles’ CQQL Records swoops in on a perfectly beautiful spring like morning as the mail carrier delivers a ray of sunshine and a release from Robert Chini that’s perfectly fitting for the occasion. For those of you that are not in the know, Robert Chini is a Southern California native music producer, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter who began his musical journey as a drummer at the age of five. Although starting out as a drummer, he soon found a passion for the guitar, keyboard, and bass. Robert’s talents led him to become a Motown songwriter during the 70s, and to tour/perform with many international recording artists.
“Doin’ It All for You” was written and recorded in 1979 in Cardiff by the Sea, California, and “Everlasting Love”–a song written about people searching for a higher power in life–was written and recorded in 1976 in Escondido, California. All music, vocals, and instruments were performed and recorded by Robert Chini and were previously unreleased.
