I recently finished up writing an article for the new OG Press Magazine and doing a feature on the legacy of DJ / Producer and Kung Fu film aficionodo, Paul Nice. In writing the flashback, it brought back plenty of memories of past conversations on everything from digging for records to classic Kung Fu and Hong Kong action cinema films with one recurring conversation and topic being the film, Shogun Assassin (1980). It had been sometime since I revisited the film which was based off of the Lone Wolf and Cub series so this past weekend I went all in and pulled out the rare VHS, gave the soundtrack a spin and dug into the poster stash to add this rarity to the wall in the record room.
