We’re always down for a great record show weekend and a reason to make our way up to Toronto and since 2016, we’ve attended the Live Convention weekend which was filled with fun parties and special events as well as a full day of digging inside some of the deepest crates. Sadly, Live Convention came to an end in 2024 and just as we thought our annual trip to Toronto to experience all of the cultures that the city has to offer, the announcement of CrateryCon came about and it’s shaping up to be something amazing for record culture, music heads and those who love to dig in the crates. CrateryCon is a product of Cratery and if you’re not familiar with Cratery, it is a long standing group of dedicated diggers that have represented Toronto in every fashion of vinyl culture. Cratery and the Cratery website stood as “A Dig Diary” and featured incredible mixes, guest interviews and a wealth of record knowledge that’s still an invaluable tool this very day.
