Feed LA, a Berlin-based collective, came into existence in early 2020. No strangers to the improv jazz and funk scenes, the members of the band have been part of Germany’s underground music scene since the early 1990s. After self-releasing two singles, Feed LA’s self-titled full-length album premiered in 2023. Since its release, the album has garnered the band an international reputation among collectors and fans of genre-bending, improvised music.
They describe their style as “Free Pop,” a blend of jazz, funk, and pop instrumentation, with a touch of vocal accompaniment. The band features members of The Poets of Rhythm and Faruk Green. Their newest single, “Fast Cash – Up in Stratosphere”, backed with “Back From The Future,” offers a preview of what’s to come.
