Universal Cave has really got their ears finely tuned and locked in what the label as been releasing and it’s been absolute amazing ride and music journey of what we’ve been treated to this far with the 45 debut of Danny Strimer’s “We All Need Someone”, the almost lost, should-have-been-a-hit “We All Need Someone” to vinyl for the first time. A classic tale of finding love after hitting rock bottom penned in collaboration with close friends in the early 80s, recorded in 1982, and unreleased until Danny finally unleashed it in summer 2025. And now available on a glorious limited edition 45 – only 200 copies!
Side B features a new take on the tune that started our relationship with Danny, “(Till You’re) Back In My Arms.” After we included the song on Soft Rock For Hard Times Vol. 8, covered it for our second 45, and started a wonderful email correspondence with Danny, he was inspired to revisit the song and record this beautiful acoustic version in 2024 – 47 years after first releasing it in 1977.
