One of the reoccurring conversations that I always seem to have with fellow record collectors is the lack of live recordings in front of an audience which was a big market years ago ranging from comedy to jazz. Over the last few years we’ve been treated to a few vinyl releases of such and one that is definitely a welcomed addition to the crates is Nas’ “Illmatic Live From The Kennedy Center”.  To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Illmatic, Nas and The National Symphony Orchestra recreated the classic with a historic performance which was also aired on PBC and now the full audio is pressed on to vinyl for the full in home experience.
