Amazing times last night in Denver playing the Mile High Soul Club with my brothers in soul, Tyler Jacobson and Steve Cervantes along with an amazing surprise return of my favorite Go Go dancer, Connie Love. The day started out rather nice weather wise but by the time 3pm rolled around it started to snow and by 9pm it was really coming down which in most instances would mean a questionable turnout. Not for the Mile High Soul Club lovers, even with blizzard like conditions and temperatures dropping, they filled into club and we warmed them up properly. From doors open to doors close, the audience rocked with us from record to record and at one point it must’ve gotten a little too hot and steamy as we witnessed clothes dropping!
It’s always a pleasure playing MHSC which is without a doubt, one of the best 60’s Soul, Funk and Rhythm and Blues in the world! The residents care out their brand and how it’s presented to the audience which really shows with everything from their brand image to DJ’s booked. It’s a quality of high standards that I applaud so thank you for once again opening up the doors for me to play for an amazing crowd.
