They often say that there’s no rest for the creative mind and already in 2019 we’ve filled our crates with great releases of varying genres by some of the hardest working in the business. ┬áNever one to slow up the work flow, Chris Lujan (of the M-Tet) has embarked on a new solo project and release for “Don’t Go Actin’ A Fool” under the Chris Lujan & Electric Butter title. Pulling from extremely deep vibes, the lead single is a sweet instrumental soul featuring the likes of Joe Baer Magnant (Guitar), Raynier Jacildo (Hammond Organ, Fender Rhodes) and┬áMicah McClain (Drums) with Lujan on Fender Bass, Glockenspiel and Tambourine. The project was recorded at the Lugnut Brand HQ’s direct to tape on the Tascam 388 which is only right given the sound that we’ve come to love their projects.

As of now, the release will be digital only dropping on April 5th via all platforms with a possible follow up vinyl release and more tunes in the wings.
