Creating A Culture of Dignity and Justice

Joining Record Breakin’ label head, DJ Junior aka Dr. Bruce Campbell this Saturday afternoon at The Painted Bride in Philly for a panel on “Creating a Culture of Dignity and Justice: How creatives can incorporate social justice engagement in their work”.

Come learn, connect and network with professor Dr. Bruce Campbell aka DJ Junior of Eavesdrop Radio (WKDU 91.7FM) and Record Breakin’ Music. He will be sharing his journey and lessons of balancing social justice and advocacy in his role as an academic, creative and record label founder. This interactive workshop is ideal for individuals looking for innovative ways to infuse social justice strategies into their work. Active participants will leave the workshop with an action plan tailored to their desired goals for equity. Internationally known DJ and cultural ambassador Skeme Richards will be providing the soundtrack for the session.

Joining in the the discussion is Channing Billups is originally from Florida’s Gulf Coast and has spent the last several years involved in Philadelphia’s arts scene collaborating with a number arts organizations and producing independent interdisciplinary arts projects in music, theater, sketch comedy and podcast spaces.
