When it comes to being highly anticipated, it’s safe to say that the world is always on the lookout for anything new to be released by Sweden’s Sven Wunder who has become an essential name deserved to be featured in every collectors crate. From their 2019 debut, “Doğu Çiçekleri” which sold out almost instantly and caused a frenzy within the scene to their most recent LP, “Late Again” which actually arrived right on time, they continue to sound better with each release. Having already released a dozen 45’s in their catalog, their latest “Ultramarine” is a beautiful masterpiece that keeps our ears in tuned and wanting more from them.
Originally recorded for the Madlib Invazion Library Series which was created by Egon and Madlib as a vehichle to give their creative friends a chance to stretch out and indulge in whatever type of music they wanted. This music was created for easy, one-stop clearance in film and television synchronization usage and for sampling. Multi-track files are available upon request for key projects. You can also enjoy these albums in the way that many do with the best of the best vintage library catalogs – listen, ponder, repeat.
Ultimately this and others from the series are a sampling producers dream which if you know anything about Sven Wunder then then I’m sure you’ll understand just how invaluable their sound is.
