Portland’s Albina Music Trust continues to unearth some amazing music from the vaults and this next one is an absolute gem that will finally get the much needed shine that it deserves. Recorded to tape some 45 years ago, Transport stepped into the studio to record the masterpiece, “Way Back When” and it sounds amazing. A combination of jazz-funk and disco-funk, Transport are at their peak level of creativity here and it really shows. A short but sweet 6 track CD release that should definitely make it’s way into your daily rotation.
