Something amazing is coming down the pipeline via Palace Records by talented composer and label boss Andrei Nikolsky that continues with his sound select theme that he’s become pleasantly known for and has it dialed it in to a tee. The amazing sounds of library music has truly made it’s return and Nikolsky comes at it in a fantastic way. His upcoming 7″ which is the third on the Palace Records label delivers 3 gems of varying moods which makes it more more than just a single.
The lead off, “Flight of Fancy” delivers exactly what the title suggests and transports us back to an era when airline travel was something much more glamorous. A time where every seat felt like you were sitting in first class and flyers were dressed like they were heading to a destination that only one could imaging.
“Fathoms Deep” takes is to opposite end and deep into oceanic territory where the waters are murky and danger could be at any turn but at the same time, a sense of serenity and peace if you go deep enough.
On “Flip Ya Foreal” we hit a very solum point, a point where there’s loss or closure and a feeling that your favorite character in a crime drama has met his demise.
When it’s finally said and done, Andrei Nikolsky’s new release is an absolute stunning library’esque composition that makes us want cinematic visuals to go along with it to tell a complete story but even without that, we can pain the picture for ourselves.
