It’s without question that Chicago’s Star Creature Universal Vibrations label had an amazing year of releases in both 7″ and 12″ formats of Modern Funk and Disco related tunes with plenty of spins to go around. Landing on the 19th day on my 31 days in January of 2017 releases that you might have missed out on, slept on or need to reevaluate in your crates come courtesy of the Mexico City duo of Shiro Schwarz who I instantly loved when I first heard them back in 2016. But this release with accompany video single really took me there and visually captured the 80’s perfectly.
