Whenever in Japan on my Magma Taishi Returns tour I tend to rest my head and live in the Kawasaki area right off of the Musashi-Nakahara train stop which is a short subway ride from Shibuya but far enough out that it’s peaceful and relaxing without all of the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a great residential area with locals only and very few foreigners in that part which makes it even better because you get to soak up the local culture itself without any distractions. My daily routine is usually simple, wake up in the late morning, take a walk around the neighborhood to get some fresh air, grab a bite to eat then back to the crib to get work done on the day. When the work day is complete, it’s usually off to one of the more hectic areas of Tokyo filled with people, restaurants, bars and shops to meet up with friends for dinner or to check out any number of great DJs playing nights.
