Going through some old photos recently and came across a few from my appearance at The Getback in Las Vegas at The Beauty Bar in 2009. The Getback is without a doubt one of the most super duper official Funk, Soul, Hip Hop vinyl night in history that was doing the 45 thing way before it became a trend. Each month, Jon Doe, Phoreyz and Danny Bowie bless a fully packed house which consists of both indoor and outdoor areas filled with the most diverse and coolest crowd in Vegas. Sadly, The Getback doesn’t happen on a monthly basis any longer and only from time to time but if you’re ever in Las Vegas on that particular night, then do yourself a favor and slide in for a night of dancing.
