Italy’s TAVA TAVA Rare label continues to release an amazing assortment of Japanese Anime and soundtrack related vinyl pressings in a way that’s really become a standard. Diving into forgotten or previously unreleased territories with compilations, they’re latest pulls from one of our favorite series, Great Mazinger!

Composed by M. Watanabe, the Great Mazinger TV BGM Collection is just that, a series of scores, themes and more from the fan favorite series which began airing in the 1970s. Consisting of heavy Jazz and library’esque soundscapes, this might be the very best way to take in Great Mazinger that we’ve ever heard. As always, TAVA TAVA Rare went the extra mile with amazing cover art and full presentation that looks amazing displayed and sonically pleasant played.
