Gritty, raw and super heavy funk by Nashville’s The Gripsweats dropping later this month via Colemine Records. Recorded in a dungeon like basement studio that obviously helps channel the funk, The Gripsweats understand how to make records of this nature and this one definitely deserves heavy spins. A classic 2 part recording with a heavy nod to NOLA funk, “G’on Use It” is a dance floor burner that has us itching to play loud in a club and watch the floor erupt into a frenzy.
