We’re just about a month away from the next release by the homie Soul Supreme who has been blowing listeners minds with his production and reinterpretations of a few classics that we should all be familiar with if we’re good music lovers. Usually selling out rather quickly, his next project is definitely a no-brainer to grab as soon as it drops.
An EP worth of head nodding, drum heavy, Fender warmth goodness oozing out and reimagining the likes of “Let’s Ride”, “Runnin'”, “Feeling Good”, “Officially In Love” and “Still Shining”. We should do a trivia contest and ask people to give the original artists names to these songs to see just how deep they are! Here’s a hint, they all involve legendary producer Jay Dee so that shouldn’t be too difficult to narrow things down.
