If you ask who my favorite comic artists are of all time, John Byrne will without a doubt be listed in my top 5. He’s drawn some of my favorite books including The Uncanny X-Men, Man of Steel, Fantastic Four and of course Power Man (Luke Cage) & Iron Fist. I recently caught the original art as well as the full printed rendition of issue 50 of Power Man & Iron Fist with the storyline, “Freedom” which was drawn by Byrne and written by another one of my favorites Chris Claremont who also worked on the X-Men with John Byrne. I think it’s rather fitting to post for what’s going on politically and socially these days here in the states.
