Spasibo Records continues with their series release of 45’s by Dojo Cuts (and the 3rd one this year) and they just keep getting better and better. With this particular release, the saying “the b-side wins again” truly retains it’s title and “Wahala Dey O” is the goto cut for us to play out.
A rhythm heavy instrumental track that’s steeped in African influences and reflects the influences of producer Nathan Austs earlier work with The Liberators. The Title track is a Nigerian Pigdin that loosely translates to “There’s A Trouble” and it’s hot, polyrhythmic energy lives up to the name.
As with most things on the Spasibo label, we suggest you grab copies for your crates of essential spins.
