It’s been quite some time but Shepard Fairey has a new exhibition opening in L.A., and his first in 10 years. ‘Damaged’ is his new showing which boasts a strong 200 pieces that he’s designed since 2015. From his iconic and political style screen prints and sculptures this new exhibit displays a full spectrum of works that brings the artist full circle in what he’s known for. As always, Fairey explores serious modern day issues and topics ranging from human rights and environmental and promising a portion of sales will benefit Black Lives Matter, the American Civil Liberties Union, the Natural Resources Defense Council and Amplifier.
The exhibition is on display in a converted Chinatown warehouse at 1650 Naud Street.
