Every year I try my best to make it out to the Black Comic Book Festival at¬†New York’s Schomburg Center for Research in Harlem but schedules always seem to not line up. This year marks the 8th annual event which attracted over 8,000 people over the weekend which presented booths of new original comics and characters as well as ones that we’ve grown up with including the likes of Marvel’s Black Panther and Luke Cage.¬†Definitely going to do my best to make it out next year to see what new faces are gracing covers and storylines.
