2024 is in full swing and the hits just seem to be coming with so much great music filling our record bags from across the globe and we’ve got something else that you’ll need to pack in that will surely be a floor filler. The LA via Paris homie, David Zylberman comes correct with another fine slice of magic on the Star Creature label that will surely fill you with good energy and loving vibrations. His latest 7″, “New Perspective” b/w Solstice is a Contempary Electronic Jazz pairing that that showcases his talents in a way that we haven’t heard before which shows exactly the level of talent that he has tucked away in his bag.
After flipping bananas covers of Lonnie Liston Smith and Roy Ayers, Zylberman debuts an original production on the A Side that might inspire one of the greats to cover him this time. New Perspective gives that same synth driven, rhythm forward dance cut inspired by the positive reaction received from his earlier reworks. The B Side takes us straight to deep space with an uptempo cracker of a remix of Brian Bennett’s Solstice done in a zero-gravity flavor previously considered impossible.
